Fish farming requires very high-efficient and reliable pumps to transfer brackish water / seawater from oceans to fish farming ponds or tanks. One of the main systems used is called RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) which requires pump operations to lift treated water from reservoirs to ponds or tanks at given temperature and flow rate. Its purpose is the recirculation and filtering of water to ensure adequate oxygenation and to prevent the formation and stagnation of bacteria or other polluting particles (such as waste products excretion containing carbon dioxide, ammonia and faeces).

ARGAL pumps can be installed in the following processes: seawater intake, aeration, metering, filtration, distribution.
