Scrubbers are necessary to remove harmful materials from industrial exhaust gases before to be released into the environment. There are two types of scrubbing processes that use different materials to filter gases:
Wet scrubbing: the removal of harmful compounds of the exhaust fume gases by spraying a liquid through the gases.
Dry scrubbing: by introducing a solid substance to the gas (powdered)
