ARGAL | Service pumps or process pumps?

16/01/2017

Argal offers two types of centrifugal pumps for responding to our clients' needs in the best way. For making a plant working correctly, main and auxiliary machines are necessary. So what is the difference between process pumps and service pumps?

Process pumps are also named primary pumps for the main functions inside a plant. They can operate as supply pumps, load /unload, injection or also dosing pumps, etc.
Commonly used in chemical industry, galvanic industry, textile treatments or even for bottling drinks and manufacturing metals, glass, etc...the primary pumps perform a continuous service.
Our range FRONTIERA and ZGE are realised with the best thermoplastics and polymers of Italy; they are complying with ISO 2858 and ATEX standards.
FRONTIERA pumps are available in the mechanical seal version or magnetic drive one.

On the other side, service pumps are considered as auxiliary pumps, which is as necessary as the process pumps. They are used as recirculation pumps, filtration, mixing, cooling, washing, load/unloading pumps, etc... They can be found in the general chemical industry, textile and leather treatments, also for water treatments, aquaculture, etc.
Basis, Prima and Route ranges are our auxiliary pumps available in magnetic-drive version and also the mechanical sealed version for Route only.
