Electrochlorination

Electrochlorination uses electricity and a salt solution (i.e. seawater) for the production of sodium hypochlorite. This final solution of sodium hypochlorite is then used to clean the liquid of all impurities. Electrochlorination also helps to prevent dirt formation in the plant pipeline.
